The P H Holt Foundation is an independent grant maker helping to create a better future for the people of Merseyside.
It continues the mission initiated by Philip Henry Holt of Ocean Steamship Company Ltd in the 19th century. Philip Holt had many philanthropic interests and the Foundation remains a funder of a diverse range of local causes, benefiting the people of Merseyside and holding true to Philip Holt’s values of self-help, self-improvement and excellence.
