Moving On With Life & Learning (MOWLL) is a Liverpool-grown organisation that is underpinned by social inclusion objectives, committed to equality of opportunity and determined to promote and facilitate accessibility and active participation through all of our services.
We support people who endure systemic exclusion and marginalisation mainly those with learning disabilities and mental health issues (whom we refer to as Self Advocates). We deliver a range of innovative projects and services that enable otherwise socially excluded people to participate, progress and engage with a wide spectrum of social, employment and educational opportunities. Many of our services are delivered in partnership with Peer Advocates (previous Self Advocates who have completed programmes delivered by MOWLL and become volunteers with the organisation).
For an independent organisation, MOWLL’s office is uniquely based within the School of Law and Social Justice at the University of Liverpool
If you are over 18 you can fund your place through either individualised budgets, direct payments, your social worker or with another source of funding. We do also offer free programmes so do get in touch to find out more.
