Citizens Advice Sefton provides free, impartial, confidential advice to help people solve their legal, financial, benefit, employment, housing, consumer and other problems. We also use the information from the problems we help with, to make changes to what caused the problem in the first place. Citizens Advice Sefton is a registered charity and we’ve been in Sefton since 1939.
Through the work of our our 80 trained volunteers and 24 paid staff, we helped 8,000 people with 28,000 problems last year (2019).
Our advice services cover the whole of Sefton, and we provide drop-in advice in Bootle and Southport, and a telephone service.
We work in partnership with the 6 other Citizens Advice across Liverpool, Wirral, Knowsley, St Helens and Halton. Our work includes the following:
- Greater Merseyside Money Advice Partnership
- Better Off Finance
- Advice Skills Academy
