ACE (Active Community Enterprise) is an award-winning, ground-breaking, community-based support agency for adults with additional needs, brain injury and those on the ASD Scale. We offer a fully-structured weekly programme of supported activities, work experience, independent living skills training and of course, fun.
In addition to our primary focus on training and work placements our Social and Leisure Programme is open to all adults with a disability / learning disability to attend with their support worker or carer. 'Open' activities include the Fitness and Health Days, a Club Night, 2 Disco/Social Days, an Arts, Drama & Crafts and Multi-Activity Group and Woolton Cinema A.C.E. Matinee. We also run a 5 day a week gardening round and a large Community/Garden Centre - all held every week.
All activities are set-up and run by ACE to give training and work placements to our own clients whilst giving adults with a disability/learning disability social, leisure and fun activities.
ACE 'Open' activities are very popular and attended by hundreds of people, all the care organisations on Merseyside and Cheshire, as well as Day Centres and individuals. The minimum age is 17 with no upper age limit. There is no dress code or booking requirements and all of our activities are safe and wheelchair-friendly.
